The Weekend Wine & More, Noida

Image
Weekend or not, Date is Sorted! Are you a fan of luxurious interiors, perfect lighting and fine dining? Then you can continue reading this blog. If not, still give it a read and let me know if you were convinced later. Garden Galleria Mall is loaded with Clubs, lounge, Microbreweries, restaurants and what not. But the highlight for this outlet is their visually appealing interiors and the fine dining touch is top notch.  The place is so huge that it will take you a couple of minutes to select where you want to sit (too many options to choose from). The music and live DJ complemented it as well. They have super cozy seating in one corner for your date and long sofas and comfortable chairs for partying with friends or family. The pictures will do more justice to it (see below).  Now that I've shared how much i loved the ambience, let's hope on to the drinks and food section. Drinks - The Mocktails menu was quite small so i requested the bartender to make us one of their ...

Romeo Lane - Juliet is missing.

Romeo Lane - Valentine's Special As the name suggests, it's a romantic restaurant. But, it's not exclusively for the couples as the sitting space is divided into a cosy dim-lit indoor sitting and a beautifully furnished and decorated outdoor sitting. The outlet is just outside the Civil Lines metro station (if you're avoiding the Delhi traffic). Considering that we went in the winters, outdoor was our preferred choice plus natural lighting for photos.  The seating capacity is pretty decent easily covering a big party or small get together. The ambiance inside and outdoor are completely contrasting, both in a good way. The music selection was pretty good which can easily make you groove while you're waiting for the food to arrive. The staff was very unprofessional and untrained. They didn't even bother to offer us a menu or a simple glass of water on their own. Also, we faced a few hiccups with our orders. The prices on the menu were on the higher end if compare...

My Kind of Bar, CP

Image
My Kind Of Bar  This is the new bar in town and its just how i like it. Dim lights, pretty decor and hip music. Sometimes you just want to sit and dine with your buddies and forget about other stuff. This place gives you just the vibes. They serve a variety of North Indian and Italian food and the drinks section, it is loaded with liquor and cocktail options. But you are gonna miss some shakes and mocktail variety. Let's get down to the eating and drinking section. Chocolate Shake - Thick and amazing. Fruit Punch - Sweetness overloaded is the word for it. Classic Greek Salad - When you have to get some healthy veggies before eating junk and hence a sad face. Chilli Chicken Momos - Average with variety of sauces. Vada Pav with Elaichi Chai - Perfect combo! Spicy Chicken Lollipop - Absolutely delicious and crisp. Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani - Finally a yummy plate of biryani after a long ti...

Unplugged Courtyard, Udyog Vihar.

Image
Unplugged Indeed. I have visited very few places which has very appealing décor, pleasant ambience matched with delicious food and soothing music in the background. This is one of them. Situated across 2 floors, the outdoor seating is breathtaking, specially the swing sofa. Perfect place for dating as well. After being mesmerized by the beauty around the place, let's move to the Food Section. DRINKS Barbarian - A classic blend of blueberry, rosemary and ginger ale. A little tangy and a perfect thrist quencher. Hazelnut Nutella Shake - Had high expectations from this one. Wasn't thick enough. Average in taste. STARTERS Paneer Multani - Soft layers of paneer rolled inside paneer. Lovely! Tandoori samosa - Mini samosa given a tandoori touch. Irresistible with red chutney and mint sauce. Chicken dimsums - The presentation was lovely but the taste wasn't. Could've been much better. Stuffed Soya Tando...
