Wakhra Swad Hai! 



Wanted to visit this place for almost a month now. Finally got a chance to have a delightful evening here. I fell in love with the place the minute I walked in. The interiors were beautifully designed and the vibe went with the name of the outlet. Flower pots on one side, quirky sketches on the head lamp and the walls, the ambience was fantastic. Another hit thing for me was the retro fusion music - Amazing! Now it was time to order something for myself.

 
So I started with a hot drink for my sore throat - Hot Toddy. It looked amazing and helped my throat a lot. The ingredients list is quite long so just pay them a visit and judge for yourself.
 
  
My friend ordered a Oreo shake - Presentation wise fantastic. Taste wise thick and yummy.
 
 
Another one ordered a Gems shake - After my first sip I gave him a "what were you thinking?" look. It felt a chocolate syrup shake. Too basic.

 
One of us was in a mood to take some risks, so he ordered a Strawberry shake - Fortunately it tasted good and we didn't beat him up.

 
After the thirst quenching session, we ordered some food for us.
 
The first dish was Beetroot stuffed Golgappe - This was served without the famous golgappe wala paani. But strangely I liked it. The taste was different and delicious.
 
 
Second one was Cheeselings Chaat - Honestly I'm not a fan of cheeselings, hence I called it quits after the first spoon. Rest you can decide.

 
Next in line was Tandoori khule Aloo - This was rather a fusion of Aloo stuffed with aloo and papad. Another yummy dish.
 
   
Next up was Chimi Changa Rolls - This was the second time I had tried these. But I liked it better at Unplugged. These were crisp but not cheesy enough.
 
 
For the Main course we tried Kulhad wale Chole Chawal - The chole tasted like the ones served with bhature. The dish was a hit and we loved it.
 
 
We ended our gala time with some sweetness, i.e., Gulab Jamun - It was served with Shahi Tukda and Rabri. Had a heavenly dessert after such a long time.
 
 

Overall - A perfect place in all aspects. I think I found the one.

  Weekend or not, Date is Sorted! Are you a fan of luxurious interiors, perfect lighting and fine dining? Then you can continue reading this blog. If not, still give it a read and let me know if you were convinced later. Garden Galleria Mall is loaded with Clubs, lounge, Microbreweries, restaurants and what not. But the highlight for this outlet is their visually appealing interiors and the fine dining touch is top notch.  The place is so huge that it will take you a couple of minutes to select where you want to sit (too many options to choose from). The music and live DJ complemented it as well. They have super cozy seating in one corner for your date and long sofas and comfortable chairs for partying with friends or family. Welcome to the Frenzone!

FRENZONE (IT'S A TRAP) FrenZoneD! Another café setup just at the start of the famous "Satya Niketan" lane. The name of the outlet can repel you but the ambience wouldn't. It's a small café which can cater to around 30-35 people at a time. A well lit place with paintings on the right side and beautiful design on the left. They also have a projector screen for your entertainment while you are waiting for your friends (I did).  DRINKS We started it off with Shakes and Mock tails: Red Velvet Cake Shake - Thick Shake with Red velvet crumbs coming in your mouth. A delight for Red Velvet lovers. Red Velvet Virgin Mojito - Very few manage to mess this basic drink. Thankfully, they didn't. The taste was strong with fresh leaves and lemon on the top. Mr. Virgin Mojito!
