Swad Nehru Place

Image
Wakhra Swad Hai!  Wanted to visit this place for almost a month now. Finally got a chance to have a delightful evening here. I fell in love with the place the minute I walked in. The interiors were beautifully designed and the vibe went with the name of the outlet. Flower pots on one side, quirky sketches on the head lamp and the walls, the ambience was fantastic. Another hit thing for me was the retro fusion music - Amazing! Now it was time to order something for myself.   So I started with a hot drink for my sore throat - Hot Toddy . It looked amazing and helped my throat a lot. The ingredients list is quite long so just pay them a visit and judge for yourself.      My friend ordered a Oreo shake - Presentation wise fantastic. Taste wise thick and yummy.     Another one ordered a Gems shake - After my first sip I gave him a "what were you thinking?" look. It felt a chocolate syrup shake. Too basic...

Unplugged Courtyard, Udyog Vihar.

Unplugged Indeed. I have visited very few places which has very appealing décor, pleasant ambience matched with delicious food and soothing music in the background. This is one of them. Situated across 2 floors, the outdoor seating is breathtaking, specially the swing sofa. Perfect place for dating as well. After being mesmerized by the beauty around the place, let's move to the Food Section. DRINKS Barbarian - A classic blend of blueberry, rosemary and ginger ale. A little tangy and a perfect thrist quencher. Hazelnut Nutella Shake - Had high expectations from this one. Wasn't thick enough. Average in taste. STARTERS Paneer Multani - Soft layers of paneer rolled inside paneer. Lovely! Tandoori samosa - Mini samosa given a tandoori touch. Irresistible with red chutney and mint sauce. Chicken dimsums - The presentation was lovely but the taste wasn't. Could've been much better. Stuffed Soya Tando...

Pebble Street

PEBBLE STREET      A hip place with a cool vibe. Dim lighting with cozy setting. Bright lighting with comfortable seating. Pretty posters on the wall. A yellow scooter on display. Pleasant music in the background. They know how to catch your attention. Staff is welcoming and the service is pretty good. Coming down to the main deal.   DRINKS SECTION Pineapple Sunshine - Wasn't shining for me. Tasted like normal Pineapple juice to me.   Tropical Green Mocktail - Was expecting more of lemon in it. Had too much syrup in it. Tasted very very sweet. Can be worked upon.   Lavender Lemonade - This was also very sweet. Got it changed and then it was better. The lemon taste was good.   FOOD SECTION Chicken wings - I loved it! Crispy yummy pieces of chicken!   Cheese n Mushroom Garlic bread - The bread was a little soft. Was expecting crispness. The cheesy mushroom taste worke...

Birthday Hike

Solo Tripping on Birthday!   How do you celebrate your birthday? Partying with your friends? Going out with family? Well, most of you agree with me and are nodding right now. Others, who are staying away from their loved ones, are reading this with a poker face ON. I was in the latter one this year, so I decided why not take an off from work and just go out on a solo trip. Getting goosebumps already with “Solo trip”? The first Solo trip is always scary and challenging. You have to plan everything on your own and you can’t put the blame on anyone else (I know right? :P). But once you get a hang of it, then the fun starts. This wasn’t my first Solo trip so the fun quotient was on the higher side. Last year I did Bungee jumping on my Birthday but that story is for another day. Right now let’s focus on this one. The best part about Solo trips for me is full control to you.   You want to eat something? Go ahead. You want to skip places and go somewhere else...
