WHAT'S COOKING?

 
This is well placed with other outlets on the 3rd floor in DLF Mall of India. What sets it apart from others is the calm atmosphere and the colors used in their décor. If you like to have a relaxed evening with your friends/family then the looks of this Cookhouse will definitely attract you.
 
 
AMBIENCE

You're welcomed with wooden furniture and a big screen in front of you (for LIVE matches). The décor is not too flashy and that's their USP. Quirky posters on one wall, bicycles hanging on the wall, bottles arranged in a different design. I was quite impressed with the overall ambience of the place. It was time to see if the food could do justice to the place.

  • Buddha's Palm - Limes and oranges. It gave the tangiest taste to start the meal. 
TANGY DRINK!
  • Samui Broccoli & Mushroom Satay - Broccoli and Mushrooms served with peanut sauce. The sauce was something new and surprisingly tasty. The dish was usual.
BROCCOLI & MUSHROOMS
  • Szechuan Salt & Pepper - Deep fried potatoes, broccoli with peppercorn. Full of masala. Liked it.
SALT & PEPPER
  • Cheese Dumpling with Asian Greens - The softest dumplings I've ever tasted. Cheesy dumplings with green veggies. Loved the taste.
CHEESY DUMPLINGS!
  • Thai Red Curry with Rice - Mushrooms, Red Chili, vegetables prepared in red curry. Served with rice. Not a fan of Thai Curry (Red or Green). Didn't like the taste at all.
THAI CURRY WITH RICE!
  • Chili Garlic Noodles - Same same but different. It tasted very different from the usual noodles. Slightly thinner and spicy. Just the way I like my noodles!

DESSERTS
  • Darsaan - It's a Chinese Dessert made with fried wonton noodles. The noodles are drizzled with honey and sesame seeds accompanied with chocolate syrup spread on a scoop of Vanilla ice cream. Personally, I didn't like the taste of it.
DARSAAN!
  • Coconut Ash Ice cream - Topped with coconut shavings. Although the name said coconut ice cream, but traces of coconut were nowhere to be found in the taste. It tasted like regular ice cream with purple color.
ORDINARY ICE CREAM!

A place to be if you're a fan of Asian food. Else, you have other good options in DLF Mall of India.

Lo-kal chale ya parso? Summers are here, and we are all set to review yet another cool outlet in Noida. If you have been to GIP, DLF Mall, WOW, then this may not be a new place for you to explore. After you have entered Garden Galleria Mall parking then you can easily spot Local in front of you. One big advantage is the big parking, and the placement of the outlet. We have a lot of good food options to try here, but this one sets apart in its own unique way.   The property is huge in space and covers all kind of gatherings you can plan with friends, family, colleagues, or even a Date. The bar is in the center of the space and the seating is spread across ground and first floor. The ambience is very picturesque and lighting is visually appealing. The Phi Phi Way!

 Straight from the Mountains to Phi Phi.  Phi Phi! Planning a trip takes a lot of time, right? Hotels. Flights. Leaves from office. (Most Important one) Itinerary. Too much to Do! So, in the spirit of the moment, we just booked the Flight tickets randomly. And that’s how the First International Trip was planned! Arrival at the Airport! After 4 hours of flying and 2 hours in the Visa-on arrival line, we entered the Bangkok City. It was like a breath of fresh air! And the scene outside the airport was similar to a Fast and Furious scene. The taxi stand filled with Pink, Orange, Green and Yellow taxis, all waiting to block the road and start drifting.
