Dancing Lights!

The name doesn't attract you but it does interest you to imagine what kind of a lounge it would be. You enter and you see darkness everywhere with dancing lights all over the place, lounge on your left and right and dance floor in front of you. The ambience invites you to dance and forget about eating anything. But then, food is what i need to dance it off!

I looked at the menu and I wanted to order a shake, then the waiter said shakes are not available. With a sad face, I moved on to the Mocktails section, then the same voice said that only two options are available. I'm like why are they also available? With no choice left, we ordered -


  • Zeher Special Mocktail - Nothing special about this one. Lots of syrup, sprite and soda. Tasted just fine.

  • Virgin Mojito - Too much of soda and very less of lemon and mint is what makes Virgin Mojito a Bad one! Clearly the worst of the lot!

Moving on to the Starters, we had -
  • Hara Bhara Kebab - Not that soft, but very crispy and served well with mint chutney!

  • Chicken Salt & Pepper - Very hard chicken pieces and the salt & pepper were not the right amount. Tasted pretty bad.

  • Chilli Paneer - Soft paneer pieces prepared in capsicum, onion spicy gravy. Good stuff.

  • Chilli Chicken - Replace the paneer with hard Chicken pieces and it's prepared the same way. Tasted just fine.

  • French fries - Not your usual deep fried McD fries. Thick and crispy fries served with tomato ketchup.

  • Chicken Wings - Very crispy. Prepared in that thick gravy. Very difficult to finish it with all the bones.

Service

The service was in hibernation mode after a few starters. They forgot that we had ordered more food. And hence, we kept on waiting for our food to arrive. It became irritating after a point. Either you serve the food or tell us that it can't be prepared. But making the other person is not acceptable. Good service is what makes people come back to the same outlet again.
 

Overall
Pleasant Ambience, Good food but service not up to the mark. Rest you're wise enough while picking a place to eat!

  Weekend or not, Date is Sorted! Are you a fan of luxurious interiors, perfect lighting and fine dining? Then you can continue reading this blog. If not, still give it a read and let me know if you were convinced later. Garden Galleria Mall is loaded with Clubs, lounge, Microbreweries, restaurants and what not. But the highlight for this outlet is their visually appealing interiors and the fine dining touch is top notch.  The place is so huge that it will take you a couple of minutes to select where you want to sit (too many options to choose from). The music and live DJ complemented it as well. They have super cozy seating in one corner for your date and long sofas and comfortable chairs for partying with friends or family. Welcome to the Frenzone!

FRENZONE (IT'S A TRAP) FrenZoneD! Another café setup just at the start of the famous "Satya Niketan" lane. The name of the outlet can repel you but the ambience wouldn't. It's a small café which can cater to around 30-35 people at a time. A well lit place with paintings on the right side and beautiful design on the left. They also have a projector screen for your entertainment while you are waiting for your friends (I did).  DRINKS We started it off with Shakes and Mock tails: Red Velvet Cake Shake - Thick Shake with Red velvet crumbs coming in your mouth. A delight for Red Velvet lovers. Red Velvet Virgin Mojito - Very few manage to mess this basic drink. Thankfully, they didn't. The taste was strong with fresh leaves and lemon on the top. Mr. Virgin Mojito!
