Old Frames!

The place that I visited recently was like old wine transferred to a new bottle. Keeping the same look- big chandeliers, old pictures framed on the wall with nicely spaced seating. I personally loved the concept of painting the walls yellow.

Chandeliers!

Its main branch is in Connaught Place (Review). This branch is not as huge as the main branch but gives you a pleasant feeling when you enter the place. With the old music flowing in the air, you can hum along or have a quiet time with someone. To sum it up, good vibes from the ambience. Moving on!

Good Vibes!

FOOD –
  • Chocolate Shake – The shake was pretty thick. You could feel the chocolate crumbs in your mouth. Also, you get a slight bitter aftertaste of the dark chocolate in it.
Chocolate!

  • Adams Punch – Green Apple, soda and apple syrup with tons of ice makes your drink a highly tangy drink. If tangy gives you a hit, then go for it.
Adams Apple!

  • Veg Nachos – This was one nicely presented plate of nachos. I’m a nachos fan and I know a bad plate when I see one. Fortunately, it wasn’t. Tasted quite good!
Nachos!!

  • Drums of Heaven – Deep fried drumsticks napped with tangy oriental sauce. My first drums of heaven and I liked the soft chicken! Recommended!
Drums of heaven!

  • Very Veggie Burger – This was one fat ass Burger. The patty was twice the normal size and was topped with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo dressing. It was served with fries and coleslaw. Me likey!
Fat ass Burger!

  • Tirangi Paani Poori Shots – Golgappa shots were pretty average. The golgappa water was rather on the sweeter side. Couldn’t eat much of it.
Paani Poori Shots!

  • Warm Fudge Cake It looked irresistible! But, it was easily the worst Dessert I have ever tried. Never expected Chocolate fudge to be this hard to swallow and so tasteless. Very Very Disappointing!
Not so Warm Cake!

SERVICE –
The staff was very polite. And you could find someone within a minute, that’s how much manpower they have. The service was also quick. They don’t keep you away from your food for long.
OVERALL –
If you dig a royal look, quiet atmosphere with instrumental music then go for the CP branch. But if you prefer a rewind look and don’t mind retro music then this place is your next target.
