After Stories, Sector-29, Gurgaon.

Time for After Stories!

 
  

 
This is a little outside from the main Sector-29 market. Walking distance from IFFCO Chowk Metro station, it can be easily spotted. The big board of "After Stories" welcomes you with an outside seating with greenery all around you. If you're not a green person, then they have two floors of pleasant ambience inside for you. The seating is well spaced and lights are appealing to the eye.



 

FOOD
  • Kaala khatta - This drink lacked the tanginess. The color was also not that appealing. Could be improved.

  • Tandoori Mushroom - Mushroom stuffed with cheese is a good starter. Tasted fine.
MUSH-ROOMS!
  •  Paneer tikka with roasted Papad - This was rather a surprise indeed. Paneer covered with crushed papad was very crisp and tasty!
PANEER TIKKA!
  • Fish Fingers - The presentation was amazing! Fish fingers dipped in flavored mayonnaise and kept in a glass. Taste was amazing too!

  • Dahi ke kebab - Soft kebabs. Not too sour. Not too sweet. Good kebabs.

  •  Stuffed vegetable Burger - A little different from the lot. Stuffed bun with veggies and cheese inside. Served with fries. Tasted quite good.
STUFFED BURGER!
  •  Mexican Veg Pizza - Overloaded with veggies and cheese. Tasty!
VEG PIZZZZAAAA!
  •  Chicken tikka Pizza - More cheese and less chicken. Crisp! Veg was much better.
CHICKEN PIJJJAAA!
  •  Pasta - A little hard to swallow, that too red sauce. Not my plate of pasta!

  •  Bheja fry bhuna masala - Pav served with bheja fry of lamb. Tasted just fine.
BHEJA FRYYY!
  •  Dal Makhani - Thick and tasty Dal Makhani is all i need with my Lachcha Parantha.

Desserts
  • Brownie with ice cream - Finally a soft brownie which makes me go Aww! Scrumptious indeed!

  •  Churros - tried it for the first time. Didn't like it much.

Overall
 
If you're looking for a place after a long day at work then this is the apt place to continue your after stories here. Good food with pleasant ambience. All set!

  Weekend or not, Date is Sorted! Are you a fan of luxurious interiors, perfect lighting and fine dining? Then you can continue reading this blog. If not, still give it a read and let me know if you were convinced later. Garden Galleria Mall is loaded with Clubs, lounge, Microbreweries, restaurants and what not. But the highlight for this outlet is their visually appealing interiors and the fine dining touch is top notch.  The place is so huge that it will take you a couple of minutes to select where you want to sit (too many options to choose from). The music and live DJ complemented it as well. They have super cozy seating in one corner for your date and long sofas and comfortable chairs for partying with friends or family. Welcome to the Frenzone!

FRENZONE (IT'S A TRAP) FrenZoneD! Another café setup just at the start of the famous "Satya Niketan" lane. The name of the outlet can repel you but the ambience wouldn't. It's a small café which can cater to around 30-35 people at a time. A well lit place with paintings on the right side and beautiful design on the left. They also have a projector screen for your entertainment while you are waiting for your friends (I did).  DRINKS We started it off with Shakes and Mock tails: Red Velvet Cake Shake - Thick Shake with Red velvet crumbs coming in your mouth. A delight for Red Velvet lovers. Red Velvet Virgin Mojito - Very few manage to mess this basic drink. Thankfully, they didn't. The taste was strong with fresh leaves and lemon on the top. Mr. Virgin Mojito!
