Connecting the Kitchen!

CAFE 5H, KITCHEN CONNECT
Posters!
After walking in the narrow streets of Shahpur Jat for a while, I finally found this cafe. This cafe is located at the end of a long row of cafes and shops. A little difficult to spot, it is located on the first floor. After entering the place, I was a little surprised after looking at the size of the cafe. But after looking at the creativity used in different areas of the cafe, it changed my mind and i was looking forward to it.
  • AMBIENCE
The cafe is small, but it's filled with cute little things which, combined together adds to a delightful experience. From displaying their variety of food in a counter to sewing setup under the table, the place was a delight to watch. It was beautifully decorated with flowers on one side and cutesy posters on the other. The table had a bell to call the staff for assistance and an interesting jar which says that you can avail offers if you check in on social media. Smart Move! Also, they have a big basket filled with books and magazines so that solo diners can also be entertained. And to end it, they had some smooth light music being played in the background while you get engrossed in your conversations.

The Table!
  • FOOD
I started with Papad and hummus, along with cheese balls with seasoning. The papad were very crisp, and the cheese balls were big in size, equally soft on the inside and crisp on the outside.

Starters!
Then i ordered myself a
  • Mediterranean Hummus Chickpeas Burger - When the Burger came to my table, I looked at it for a while, thinking of ways to finish the Gigantic Burger on my own. The Burger was served with crispy fries and mint mayonnaise. The patty was made out of Chickpeas, hummus and veggies and the Burger was stuffed with onion, tomato, cucumber and lettuce in between. The Burger was yummy-licious and a little difficult to finish by yourself. Some deep breathes were taken after this one.
Gigantic!
  • Khow Suey - The name caught my attention. Khow Suey is a Burmese noodle dish that is prepared with all the three types of capsicum, green onion, tomato, curry and noodle is made out of the same recipe as pasta base. The noodles were a little hard but the overall dish was tasty. Sadly, I was full after the Burger so couldn't give my 100 % to this one.
The Main Course!
  • Paan Pasand Shake - Thankfully, the shake was ready before the Burger. The Shake was thin and high on the Desi Paan flavor, giving you the feel of eating an actual paan making it more delicious.
Paan Wala Shake!
  • Chocolate Truffle - After holding my stomach for 5 minutes, I finally gathered the courage to order a dessert (Because you don't say no to truffle). Truffle was so nicely decorated and the taste was just amazing. A softer layer of chocolate with nuts on top and thicker layers in the bottom. Yummy! is the word.
Truffle!
  • SERVICE
The Staff was very courteous and the service was on the quicker side. They made sure that the food was ready on time. Full marks for Service!

Overall : The cafe is small, but the variety that they have is amazing. Do visit the cafe and you'll not regret it!
