HOUSE WITH A HISTORY
This Coffee House sold its first coffee before we even got our Independence, that’s how old it is. It has been there for 75 years and it has still maintained its charm and the footfall. You get a royal feeling when you enter the place which makes it a perfect place for Fine Dining. It is located in the Inner Circle, CP covering the Ground and First Floor area.
The Coffee House has ‘Royal’ written all over it. It is very spacious, quiet with smooth Instrumental music playing in the background. You can spot big beautiful Chandeliers the minute you set foot into the place. The Interiors are vintage and gives you a major throwback to the Interiors, Paintings and Designs used in the Historic era. They have also showcased their first Menu with which they started serving their customers. I was impressed with the Ambience and eager to order some food.

Some More Interiors! |
We started with some Mock tails and Smoothies:
- Virgin Mojito – One of the better Virgin Mojitos I have had. Beautifully presented with crushed ice and lemon on the top.
- Current Affair – This was a mix of Watermelon, Cucumber and Soda properly blended. Another good drink.
- Green Valley – The best of the Lot. Full marks for the presentation. Overloaded with green fruits, leaves and Berries. Has that tangy flavor to give your taste buds a ride.
- Zesty Strawberry Colada – A Sweet drink filled with Strawberry and Pineapple. Thick texture, but no impressive in taste.
- King Alphonso – Too much sweetness with thick texture which makes it yummier.

Moving on to the food, we ordered:
Basil Paneer Tikka – It was prepared in green sauce and Capsicum and served with onion and carrot. Paneer Tikka v2.0- Revived and delicious in taste.
Lahori Chappli Kebab – The Kebabs were just ordinary in taste. Served with onion, carrot and leaves sprinkled on the top.
Paneer Kali Mirch – My Favorite! Soft paneer prepared in the lip smacking cashew nut and black pepper gravy with cream poured on the top.
Dal Makhani – The thick Dal makhani that we all love. Very nicely prepared with cream on the top.
Mirchi Baingan Ka Salan – The Small eggplants and green chili prepared in gravy and filled with masala. Average in taste.
Lachcha Parantha, Parmesan & Rosemary Naan – Lachcha Parantha were soft. Naan was baked with tomato and cheesy layer on the top. It was delicious!

Never Ending Food! |
It was time to end the Dinner with some Desserts:
Kala Jaam – Gigantic Gulaab Jaamun served along with Butterscotch ice cream. The Gulaab Jaamun was heavenly, soft and served HOT! The ice cream combo worked very well.
Crème Caramel – The Caramel cheese cake was served with whipped cream and a chocolate stick on the top. It tasted just fine.
Baked Alaska – Presentation and looks were amazing. Covered with a layer of finely mashed eggs and cream and stuffed with fruits inside. Taste wasn’t that great.

Even with the jam packed outlet, the staff was courteous and catering to our needs. The food was served without much delay. And they even helped us in clicking pictures of the food. Yayy!
A must visit if you like admiring the vintage interiors and want a royal treatment.
